The Dirtybirds are an arena league ice hockey team in Delta, BC who are coming off of a championship year. The team had previously worn replica ‘26/’27 Red Wings jerseys and desired their own unique "pro" look to suit their championship status.
Solution
The haggard winged “D” pays tribute to the team’s former identity while being unique and timeless. The gradated colour in the wing suggests dirty feathers and pops well on both the home and away jerseys. Since production, the team has received a lot of attention for their new look and are on their way to defending their championship.
